Chocolate is my favorite dessert.
I make it all the time and I can’t wait to eat it, so why not?
So why not make it for yourself?
The recipe below is easy, healthy, and delicious!
The basic ingredients you’ll need to make this delicious cake are: 1 cup whole milk 1 cup sugar 1 cup flour 1 cup unsalted butter 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup powdered sugar (if you prefer it with more sugar) 1/4 cup white chocolate chips 1/3 cup melted chocolate 1 cup white cake flour The cake batter: For the chocolate cake: 1/8 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 cup heavy cream 1/6 cup confectioners’ sugar 1/5 cup unsullied cocoa powder (optional) 1/16 cup unsifted butter 1 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 1/32 cup cocoa powder For the icing: 1 egg white 1/24 cup sugar For the cake filling: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon chocolate chips Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix the milk, sugar, flour, butter, baking powder, salt, and powdered sugar together in a medium bowl.
Pour the milk mixture into a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the cocoa powder and chocolate chips.
Allow to cool slightly and then refrigerate for at least an hour, or overnight.
Once cooled, remove the cake from the pan and place it on a wire rack to cool.
Once the cake is cool enough to handle, spread the melted chocolate on top of the cake.
Refrigerate for about 10 minutes, then cut into 1-inch squares.
For the frosting: Beat the butter, sugar and eggs together in the bowl of a stand mixer until fluffy.
Slowly add the chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract.
Stir until combined.
Transfer the cake to a piping bag fitted with a round tip.
Pipe icing onto the cake and drizzle with the melted chocolates.

You can make this cake in advance by making ahead and baking it in advance at room temperature, but this cake can be frozen.
Just make sure you keep the icing and frosting in a bowl to store.
