By now you’ve probably heard the popular saying “make a cake decorator”, but you probably haven’t done it yourself.
You know, because it’s not really the job.
So, for your convenience, we’re going to do the job for you.
Here’s how to make the most of your chocolate cake decorating skills.
You may be thinking “that’s a lot of chocolate cake, so what are you doing?”
Well, that’s a good question.
Chocolate Cake Decorators is a free ebook written by award-winning cake decorators.
They have a whole book on cake decorations.
You can find out more about the book here.
The first step is to figure out what you want to decorate.
If you’re a cake baker, for example, you probably want to make your cake decorations from scratch.
Here’s what you’ll need: The basic idea is that you’ll want to use a single-layer cake for the centerpiece.
This will give you a large, smooth surface for the cake to fall over on.
You may want to add a second layer for a second-layer icing.
Another idea is to use the cake for a backdrop, but that’s another post.
Then you’ll add your decorations, such as the “chocolate cream cup” and “cake trays” and you can decorate your cake with any type of decoration.
You’ll also need a base for your cake.
You’ll want something solid that you can stand on.
The most basic base is a wooden cake tray, but you can use whatever you want.
It’ll make the cake look nicer and more elegant.
Lastly, you’ll probably want some decoration on the sides of your cake, to show off your decorations.
These are called “chocolate frosting”.
Here are the basic decorating supplies you’ll likely need to get started: 1/4 cup buttercream or icing sugar (you’ll want 1 cup to be a small amount.
I used a scoop of this)
