Chocolate mousse is one of my favorite desserts, and it’s a great way to incorporate an extra dose of chocolate flavor to your favorite desserts.
You’ll find mousse recipes that call for powdered sugar or cream to add the richness of chocolate, but I’ve found it’s best to use a simple chocolate meringue.
This recipe for chocolate mousses uses a simple mix of chocolate chips and cocoa powder, and then drizzles it on top of the batter.
You can also add a dollop of coconut cream to create a slightly more creamy dessert.
The basic recipe comes together in under 30 minutes.
I found the best way to make this dessert was to first make a batch of mousse in the bowl of your stand mixer, then place it on the counter to chill for about 30 minutes, or until firm enough to handle.
It’s great to serve it in a simple cake, too.
