Chocolate frosting is a great way to add a little colour to your chocolate bars.
This recipe is simple, it is delicious, and you can make it for less than you think.
But how much does it cost?
You can get it from a few chocolate manufacturers, or you can get this from the internet.
The best way to find out how much it will cost is to visit the supermarket or online and look at the price tag.
A cup of chocolate can cost anywhere from about €0.90 to about €1.00.
It may not seem like much, but it can add up fast.
You can also buy chocolate frosting online.
Chocolate Frosting Ingredients 1 cup (3 oz) chocolate, room temperature 2 tablespoons water, divided 3 tablespoons cocoa powder 3 tablespoons pure vanilla extract 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/3 cup (1/2 cup) chocolate chips, finely chopped Instructions First make the chocolate.
Combine the chocolate with the water, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil over a medium heat, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat, let cool and use to frost the bars.
If you don’t have chocolate chips to use, buy them at the supermarket.
Then make the frosting.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the cocoa, vanilla extract, baking and salt.
Add the chocolate chips and vanilla extract and whisk until well combined.
Pour the mixture into a piping bag fitted with a small tip, then pipe a small hole in the middle of the bars and fill with the chocolate frosted mixture.
Once the bars are filled with the frosted chocolate, sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
Notes I used a 1/8 tsp salt in place of the baking powder to make the texture more like a chocolate icing.
If you don`t have a whisk, you can use a pastry blender.
